Zachary's Newborn Photo Session at Home | cincinnati newborn photographer
February 15, 2017
Here is the newborn photo session that went into the beautiful heirloom photo album I covered in the last blog post. I will tell you more about this adorable family and Zachary's big sister. At the time of the newborn portrait session, big sister was 2.5 years old. The newborn portrait session took place in the family's home.
Offering in-home newborn photography is a special service that I offer. Having a brand new baby, especially when there are older siblings, can be taxing. Having a photographer come to your home, bring everything needed for the photo session, and take beautiful photos can be such a relief. You are more comfortable, your other children can play with their toys, and you can relax and catch up on a few items while I photograph your beautiful baby.
Natural light and several props were used for the posed newborn photos. For the family photos, we made use of the beautiful dark wooden bed with a light colored comforter and then took some parent-baby photos in the living room. Using the surroundings of the home you are familiar with makes the photos more intimate and special.
We even got some adorable portraits of big sister with her new baby brother! How sweet is the photo of Olivia kissing Zachary? And, all of those newborn baby smiles? Yes, captured on images that the family will have forever.
There are many benefits of having an in home newborn photo session. A newborn photo session with Katie Schneider Photography includes both posed newborn photos, photos of the whole family, sibling photos, and parent-baby photos right in your home. Your newborn story is fully captured and can be documented in a beautiful album or an image memory. This family will be able to look back on the story of their children when they were younger and share those memories with their children.
