Classic Maternity Session at Treasured Moments Studio, Sharonville | cincinnati maternity photographer
June 5, 2016
A classic maternity photo session in a vintage, natural light studio offers so many options to capture the beauty of a pregnancy. Treasured Moments Studio is one of my favorite indoor locations for photography. This classic and vintage studio offers several looks and styles that can be customized for just about any photo session. (For example, here is a more artistic maternity photo session at the same studio.)
For this pregnant mama, I wanted to capture how beautiful she looked during the pregnancy. She was pregnant with her third and has never had maternity photos done. Since this was her last child, it was her last chance to capture herself being pregnant. I was honored to create memories for her for years to come. And, memories she can share with her three girls when they are older.
We started the photo session on one of the big, luxurious French Provincial couch. She wore a beautiful navy maxi dress with gorgeous flowers on the bottom. The dress accentuated her round belly and contrasted against the cream couch.
For the second outfit, she chose a beautiful coral colored dress. We continued with some photos on the white bed and by the window. My favorite photo was of her lying down on the bed with her hands around the pregnant belly. Again, the coral color of the dress contrasted against the white bed, neutral walls, and the natural light window. The focus was all on her and her pregnant belly.
A classic maternity session can be easily achieved in a studio, in a back yard, or in a local park. I personalize each photo session to the client’s style and the types of photos that they would like to have. Each client and family has a story. I work with the client to select the best location and style to tell their story.
This classic studio maternity session was a joy to photograph. I had a lot of fun getting to know this beautiful lady and making memories of her pregnancy.
